Puppy Socialization

It can be challenging to find appropriate, safe ways to socialize puppies. The Puppy Socialization Visit provides a safe opportunity to let puppies experience new people, dogs, animals, environments, sounds, surfaces, and everyday situations in a controlled and supportive setting.
Emphasis will be on positive experiences that help build the puppy’s confidence so they can take on the world. The goal is not to overwhelm puppies or encourage them to interact with everything they encounter, but to create positive experiences that build confidence, resilience, and good decision-making as they grow.
Training is not included, but name recognition, crate training, potty training, and leash manners will be maintained.
Who is this for?
Puppy Socialization is available for puppies 3–8 months old who have received at least two sets of vaccinations. Puppies should be in good health for the visit. This is appropriate for any range of puppy from unsure to confident. If your puppy is struggling with confidence, please let us know beforehand, so we can make sure there is a good plan in place to give your puppy the best experience.
