About Natasha

I’m dog trainer based in Kent, WA with a background in working with dogs of all breeds (or breed mixes) and temperaments, including breeds not always known for their obedience skills. I have extensive experience helping owners with reactive dogs, drive development, introduction to dog sports, and everyday obedience training.
My training approach is balanced, combining both positive reinforcement techniques with fair corrections to create clear communication that brings out the best version in every dog. My goal when working with each dog is to build confidence, develop reliable behavior, and help the dog thrive in home and the real world.
My journey with dogs started with a pug, but over the years I’ve worked with a wide variety of breeds through fostering, training, and dog sports. I’ve helped many foster dogs with behavioral issues and unknown backgrounds, including reactivity, fear, biting, and sensitivity issues. It has been extremely rewarding to use behavioral modification techniques along with consistent training to see these dogs become successful family companions and find their forever homes.
With my own dogs, I actively compete in dog sports and enjoy exploring new challenges. Agility is my favorite sport, but I also regularly compete in conformation, obedience, and rally. I’ve also earned titles in nosework, barn hunt, and more.
Whether you’re looking for obedience training, help with a reactive dog, or guidance in dog sports, I’m always happy to answer questions and help you find the right training path for you and your dog. I look forward to working with you and your pup!
